Arnold Palmer Invitational

The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club in Orlando was only 11 miles away from our stay at Fort Wilderness, so we jumped at the chance to go on Friday! We LOVE going to PGA events as a family, and it was amazing to check out such a beautiful course. (Bonus - kids get in free with ticketed adults.)

Rory McIlroy (my favorite) was leading the tournament, so it was extra fun following him for a few holes. We scored amazing spots on the 4th tee box and were SO close to the pros as they slammed their drives down the par-5. It never gets old watching the professionals play - they're so talented, but even they have the occasional bad shots too.

Some of the course regulators took time to explain to the kids how they report the data live from each hole to the tv broadcasts. We were also sure to have an Arnold Palmer at the Arnold Palmer, and stopped by the merchandise tent to pick up the iconic umbrella.

Another amazing day of golf!
