It's Golf Week!
Mesquite has been on our list of MUST DO's since we started our journey. We're excited to finally be here and make it our last big hoorah before we head back home to Montana!
Mesquite is a little desert oasis town a little more than an hour outside of Las Vegas, and it sits right on the Nevada/Arizona border. There are palm trees and gorgeous golf courses everywhere, with enchanting desert mountains as a backdrop. Plus, the weather is marvelous - hello, sunshine!
We started our week with a round at the Casa Blanca Golf Club. It was a great course for us, challenging enough to keep us on our toes but not too much to totally whip us. We had a lot of fun! It was a great starter course for our Mesquite golfing adventures. It's relatively player friendly and in great condition. Plus, their staff was very friendly and welcoming to the kids.
Stuart: "It was really nice, really green grass. There were lots of quail, roadrunners and baby jackrabbits. My favorite hole was the par three on the back nine."
