We only stopped at this campground for one night on our bee-line to South Caroline this year, but one night was enough to impress us. We arrived at sunset, but had no problem finding our site and getting set up. With full hook-up sites on the water, it is a great find not too far off the interstate. If you're able to stay longer, Lake Dardanelle State Park has a lot to offer - fishing pier, swimming beach, boardwalk, trail, visitor center with five aquariums, and more.
We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and walk along the water's edge before we packed up and hit the road, and we'd definitely stop here again!
