Michigan Blueberry Pie & Betsy River

Just outside of Charlevoix, we pulled over at a very inviting little market with newly picked pumpkins. We stocked the freezer with Michigan blueberries, strawberries and cherries, grabbed a bag of fresh apples, and picked out a beautiful Michigan blueberry pie.

We made it to Betsy River which runs from Lake Michigan to Crystal Lake, and were able to do some fishing (no luck so far!). We did get to explore along the river and watched a heron fishing in the water. The fall colors are still stunning, and we are thoroughly enjoying the leaf peeping.
