Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum

Although we aren't exactly motorcycle buffs, we stopped into the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. The museum houses a collection of over 350 rare machines, from Harley Davison and Indian to Flying Merkel and Excelsior. You don't have to be an avid roadster to be able to appreciate the history of the rare machines they have on display.

We enjoyed seeing how the motorcycles and cars started so primitively and have evolved into what they are today. The mechanics who work on and design these machines are so creative.

Raymond really enjoyed the "one-off" machine models that people have made using motorcycle engines throughout the years - an airplane, snowmobile, ice auger, sawmill, plows, and more.
