The tasting room is perched near the top of the highest hillside on the property. This building features a beautiful wine bar, gift shop, and fine-dining restaurant. Just outside the door from the wine bar are adirondack chairs lining the hills overlooking the estate. The panoramic views of the gorgeous Virginia countryside are outstanding!
Even though we're not wine enthusiasts, we decided to try a few samples while we took in the views. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine here and gazing across the treetops. Besides a few water towers way off in the distance, we couldn't see any other developed property from here, making it feel quite serene.
We had no idea Trump Winery was in the Charlottesville area, but we're so glad we took the time to pop in for a visit - highly recommended!
